President of Cape Verde lays the first stone of Vila Verde Resort

The President of Cape Verde has officially laid the first stone of Vila Verde Resort at a ceremony which took place on Sal Island on Friday,September 29th. The event represents the official start of construction of this major project, an investment of over 120 million Euros. As scheduled, exactly six months after the project release, this is the first residential resort on Sal Island to start construction works. At the event, the President of Cape Verde and the Minister of Infrastructure and the Mayor of Sal pointed out their confidence in TECNICIL's capability to implement projects of such dimensions and have encouraged the company to continue its course and to be an example for Cape Verde's business community.
