President of Cape Verde lays the first stone of Vila Verde Resort

Prime Minister, José Maria Neves, stated Friday, March 17th in Sal island, that it was worthwhile to have always supported Tecnicil and its business dynamics. The government chief was speaking at the launch ceremony of Vila Verde Resort Project, a tourism development to be built in Santa Maria.

“Tecnicil is a reference to other capeverdean companies. The government is open to support capeverdean companies that, in all important strategic fields for the nation’s growth, want to operate and contribute for the growth and competitiveness of capeverdean economy” said José Maria Neves, for whom innovation, growth and competitiveness of the economy are the strategic axis of the government intervention for the next five years.

José Maria Neves reaffirmed that the government of the VII Legislature will invest in innovation through a "radical process of creation of new ideas and introduction of change in business and public administration", on the other hand, creating the necessary conditions for innovation in business and private organizations, so that they can carry their mission with more competence and quality.
